The Sidewalk Sale is one of the University Village's most popular events, and for good reason! Our store and dozens of others have fantastic merchandise marked to sell. The Confectionery will host 20 lucky chocolate fans for our June 14th Chocolate and Wine Pairing Class, hosted by Moonstruck's chocolatier and world-renowned classically educated pastry chef, Julian Rose. Call us this week ( at 206-523-1443 ) to reserve your space. No more than two reserved tickets per caller, and with each reservation we highly encourage a $10 donation to directly benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The event will be on the 14th at 6:30.

Chocolate and Wine: A Perfect Pairing

On June 14th the Confectionery will be hosting a wine and chocolate pairing class taught by Moonstruck Chocolate's chocolatier, Julian Rose. He'll be giving us a history of chocolate, and then teaching (by example!) how best to pair chocolates with sweet wines, champagne, whites, reds and ports. Everyone knows how well wine and chocolate go together, but with Julian's expertise we'll learn how to get the maximum palate pleasure out of the correctly chosen duo.


As an added bonus, Julian will also help us debut Moonstruck's new sea creatures truffle line, just in time for summer!
