Patrons feel like Willy Wonka wandering through this collection of colorful and delicious morsels, including a large selection of locally made chocolate, licorice, salt water taffy and striped candy sticks. With a traditional storefront, this candy land maintains the old-fashioned feel inside as well--virtually every wall is filled with large glass jars and cream-colored shelves displaying the items. The shop also carries seasonal gift items like cards, metal pails and ornaments.

Easter Sunday, April 12, is only a couple of weekends away, and our shop is the best place to get malt ball eggs, our in-house spring Jelly Belly mix, and of course chocolate rabbits that taste as good as they look!

Spring Forward

It seems like Punxsutawney Phil just saddled us with six more weeks of winter, but next Sunday, March 15, is already time to turn the clocks forwards. That means we'll have an extra hour of daylight, and can start to feel some hope for spring!

It also means we're well on our way to the Easter holidays, and if you know anything about The Confectionery you know that means walls of chocolate rabbits! Come in and see our store transformed into a pastel wonderland and make gifts for the whole family!

Ever since we moved into our incredible new space a few years ago, The Confectionery has been getting more and more attention. Here's what Seattle Metropolitan, recently voted the best city magazine in the country for 2008, had to say about us:

Sure, we’re a city of educated foodies and there’s a farmers market full of just-picked produce in every nabe in town, but we don’t neglect our sweet tooth either. Proof is the Confectionery, where two generations of adults have felt like kids in an old-fashioned candy store.
